The Gambling Act 2005 regulates a variety of gaming machines, from ‘claws’ or ‘grabs’ found in amusement arcades to slot machines and\u00a0FOBTs<\/a> in betting shops. \u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Depending on the number and nature of the machines, you may need an Operating Licence from the Gambling Commission and a Premises Licence or a permit from your local authority. \u00a0 Machines are divided into a number of different classes, which are based on the stake<\/a> and the value of the prize given<\/a>.
