GAMBLING ENFORCEMENT
A number of different agencies are involved in the enforcement of the law in relation to gambling. The main focus is provided by the Gambling Commission, who have wide powers to revoke licences or issue financial penalties.
At a local level, the Council deal with most issues in relation to the need for a particular premises to be licensed.
