Spain proposes new gambling laws
The Spanish government have announced proposals for new laws to cover gambling within the country.
The proposals will regulate the forms of play taking place at national level, especially those conducted over the Internet. The intention is to increase legal certainty for operators and improve the protection of users, children and persons voluntarily removed from the game.
A new independent regulatory body would be created to supervise the industry.
Further details will follow when they are available. At the present time, a draft has not been released for public circulation.
