The Licensing Act 2003 requires that a ‘responsible person’ has certain duties, but exactly who falls under this definition ? The answer is set out in s153 of the Act :
(i) the holder of a premises licence
(ii) the designated premises supervisor or
(iii) any individual aged 18 or over who is authorised by the licence holder or DPS
