In order to apply for a Personal Licence, it is necessary to successfully complete approved training course and an examination.
The syllabus covers the four licensing objectives, general licensing law, the powers of officers and acting in a responsible way when engaged in selling alcohol, particularly relating to preventing sales to those who are already drunk or who are under-age.
